Job Description
This position operates in a hybrid work environment, combining remote flexibility with in‑office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform and review general ledger (GL) accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month‑end close processes.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Support audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and helping ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Analyze variances, trends, and financial results, and provide insights to management.
• Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Partner cross‑functionally with AP, AR, FP&A, and business teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies and documentation.
• Assist with special projects, system enhancements, or ad‑hoc analysis as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience
• At least 1 year of industry general ledger accounting experience
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with mid‑ to large‑sized ERP platforms
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred:
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification
• Experience in a high‑growth environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar
Compensation range for position: $100k-105k
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, at least 2 years in public accounting
- 1+ year of post-public accounting experience required
- Bachelors in Accounting required, CPA preferred
- Strong ERP systems experience
