Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Senior Accountant
Location: Honolulu, HI (Hybrid)
Position Summary: A leading accounting firm is seeking a highly skilled, Japanese bilingual accountant. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing clients' accounting and will be playing a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Client relationship management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license, or willingness to obtain in the near future.
• Must be bilingual in Japanese
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
