Maxar Intelligence has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to manage various accounting functions to include the cash clearing process, corporate travel programs, property tax, prepaids and maintaining project codes in SAP.
What you will do day to day
• Complete cash clearing weekly for Maxar Intelligence and Maxar Intelligence International entities.
• Manage accounting process for corporate travel program ensuring that systematic entries from the travel program are clearing to credit card uploads.
• Create project codes in S4.
• Work with external property tax consultant to establish monthly property tax accrual.
• Coordinate property tax payments with accounts payable.
• Maintain prepaid schedules for international entities.
• Prepare account reconciliations.
• Monitor and reconcile international intercompany balances for transfer pricing receivables and paid on behalf.
• Assist in supporting audit requirements, including both internal and external audits.
• Create and maintain desk procedures.
• An eagerness to learn and take on challenges in a dynamic environment.
• Must be a team player.
• Fulfill other close requirements, as requested.
• Other accounting duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Two to four years accounting or finance experience
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of SAP a plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$74,000.00 - $122,000.00 annually.
