Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role
Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and other business-related software
Solid understanding and experience with revenue recognition for HFS and HFI
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations
Exceptional analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations
High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and engage teams
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

Responsibilities
This is a permanent role that demands a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and forecasting
The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing valuable financial insights to aid strategic decision-making
The successful candidate will have a strong background in revenue recognition for HFS and HFI and will be tasked with managing and improving our accounting operations
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
Prepare and analyze financial reports, identify discrepancies, and implement effective solutions
Lead regular ledger reconciliation and manage month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure accurate revenue recognition for HFS and HFI in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow
Collaborate with external auditors, manage audit processes, and implement audit recommendations
Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
Stay updated on industry trends and developments to ensure the company's accounting processes remain current and efficient
