The Opportunity
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the company, ensuring the overall accuracy of the group’s accounting records and reports, and maintaining robust controls and processes within the finance team. This role is a fixed term contract for up to 12 months.
Parameters
Day-to-day management responsibilities for finance team members (currently three members of staff).
Responsibility across the entire Group, including international entities.
Deputise for the Finance Director as required.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of finance team, adhering to and driving team to meet KPIs and key objectives (overall line management to sit with FD)
Ensure adherence to a robust system of controls and processes, making and implementing improvements as necessary
Responsibility for production of group management accounts and monthly reports, ensuring accuracy of reporting information and adherence to reporting timetable
Completion of VAT reporting requirements and responsibility for Group VAT registration
Production of cashflow information
Reconciliation across finance systems and reporting platforms and coordination with relevant teams
Oversee tax compliance
Assistance in integration of acquisitions and support for acquired businesses
Review and submission of monthly payroll
