Senior Accountant

Responsibilities: • Preparation of Financial Statements and tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts, Companies and SMSF (Desirable); • Assisting clients in relation to tax planning • Liaising with the ATO and other government agencies on behalf of clients • Training and Mentoring role for client's accounting, bookkeeping, admin staff and supervision of Graduate Accountants and staff • Vital to this role is the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and your team. To be considered for this role you must have experience with the above and must have the following attributes as well: • The attitude, ability, and willingness to work in a team-based environment • Experience using Microsoft NAV, Quickbooks, Class Super, BGL Simplefund, MYOB, Xero, and Practice Management software is desirable • Well-versed with the use of MS office applications. MS Word, MS Excel in particular • Good analytical and research skills using the e-web • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal, listening to customer service & engineering team support • Dedication and flexibility • Self-motivated and able to prioritise and work under pressure • Be proactive, ambitious & driven to succeed
