Job Summary:
As a Senior Accountant at SG Technofab, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company by ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting various accounting functions. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Review and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
General Ledger Management:
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues as needed.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Manage vendor relationships, review invoices, and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor and maintain customer accounts, including collections when necessary.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Provide input and analysis to support budgetary decisions.
Compliance and Auditing:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits.
Financial Analysis:
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Collaborate with the finance team to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in a senior accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
