LHH is working on behalf of our wonderful client in the non-profit space who is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join their team on a 4+ month contract basis. This will be a hybrid in-office role in Manhattan, NY. Responsibilities:
- Assist with month end close processes
- Allocating expenditures while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local grant contracts
- Daily cash flow reconciliations and analysis
- Manage intercompany reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis
- Assist with financial statement preparation under GAAP standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting highly preferred
- Prior industry experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain strong work ethic under strict deadlines
- Experience working with NetSuite is a plus
Compensation: $37 - 45/hr, depending on experience.
