Job Description
Responsibilities
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and GAAP
Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Manage and maintain fixed assets records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis
Continuously improve processes for efficiency, accuracy, and automation
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and alignment
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA Preferred)
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control framework
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
Able to work effectively under pressure from management deadlines
Able to pivot between competing priorities.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 (Base Salary) + Bonus
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
