The Senior Accountant will assist the Controller in the company’s day to day accounting operations. The Senior Accountant also has a responsibility to ensure that accounting records and processes are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following:
• Assist with compiling monthly financial data, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations, including the WIP.
· Assists the Controller with Fiscal Year End Reviews, Audits, and various tasks
· Assists Controller with various tax filings
· Responsible for Fixed Assets Schedule
· Responsible for government filings and city business licenses
· Business Insurance Renewals and audits
· Assists the Controller with ESOP Administration
· Some Budget and Forecast duties
· Other tasks and duties as assigned
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree in Accounting preferred and/or 3 to 5 years + experience
· CPA or CPA Candidate preferred

· Strong verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and internal controls
· Ability to multitask, strong analytical skills, deadline driven
· Full MS Office proficiency, heavy emphasis on Excel
· Experience with software integrations, Sage 300 a plus
· Full-Time, Exempt Employee (40-45 HRs expectation)
· 100% In office work environment
