Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting services, including end-to-end bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and payroll services.
The selected individual will be responsible for performing various tasks such as financial statement preparation, compilation reports, and month-end closing procedures. They will also provide exceptional client interaction and self-review all workpapers, financial statements, and relevant documents before submission.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as accounting software necessary for performing assignments.
Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for the position:
• Prepare financial statements and compilation reports in a timely manner based on client deadlines
• Be responsible for completion of all month-end closing procedures and special projects based on client deadlines
• Direct client interaction (will be working as a point of contact to the client)
• Self-review all workpapers, financial statements, and any other relevant documents before submission to manager or director for further review
• Advise and assist with the annual budget process as requested
• Look for opportunities to provide additional services to clients
• Take ownership and assume responsibility for work assignment
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field and 2+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting with proven experience with US-based Real Estate/Property Management clients using Sage Intacct software.
A good understanding of rent/lease accounting is essential, and prior experience in client handling is required. Strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary for this role.
The location for this position is Gurgaon/Hyderabad/Remote.
