MFX is an exciting, relatively new venture specializing in currency risk management products and serving the international development and impact investment community. We work with over 150 international clients who finance microfinance, SME, renewable energy, affordable housing, health and sustainable agriculture in over 50 developing market currencies around the world and have an active current derivative portfolio of $3 billion.
We are looking for a senior accounting professional to support our US financial accounting and reporting function and participate in the growth of MFX.
Key Responsibilities include:
- AP/AR, financial accounting, reporting and audit activities of MFX.
- Treasury, cash management and banking activities of MFX.
- Manage the Accounting System (Netsuite) and associated data.
- Risk reporting and compliance activities to the Risk Manager.
- Hands on role.
- Desire to participate in the growth of MFX, gain a deep understanding of the FX derivatives space and work with an entrepreneurial team environment.
Some key requirements of candidates:
- Bachelor’s degree: Required
- Public accounting experience: Required
- Professional Accounting Certification: Required
- Experience: 5 years +
