As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our finance and accounting operations. This position offers a unique blend of responsibilities, combining accounting expertise with financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial accuracy.
Financial Analysis - Conduct a thorough analysis of financial data, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Based on financial performance, provide actionable insights to management.
Accounting—Oversee daily accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Comply with GAAP and company policies.
Reporting - Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders. Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting.
Process Improvement - Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains within the finance and accounting functions. Implement best practices to streamline operations.
Audit and Compliance—Assist with audit preparation and support external audit activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or progress towards CPA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities, with experience interacting with senior management.
