Overview
Carter Rolan Group's Accountancy & Finance Division are recruiting for a fantastic Hybrid working Senior Accounts Receivables role in Birmingham working for large not for profit organisation. This role is x2 days on site (Central Birmingham) and paying between £30-35k. Please note this is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Your new Senior Accounts Receivables Officer role
Reporting in to the Head of Finance you will be managing a small team of transactional finance staff. Your main duties will include accurate processing of receivables, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting and analysis. You will also ensure that income is accurately processed as well as assist during statutory audits. You will also be responsible for all cash handling for all UK and international income/currencies.
What you will need to succeed in this Senior Accounts Receivables Officer role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar such as AAT or other finance qualifications
• Strong working knowledge of accounting for payables and receivables
• Understanding accrued and deferred income
• The ability to understand financial information and manipulate data
• Strong track record of processing a high volume of transactions
• Unit 4 / Agresso experience
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced financial environment
• Proven experience of people management
• Ability to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
