Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We're flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time , will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

The Senior Analyst will undertake checks of key activities carried out in Origination team and undertake audits of related systems to identify deficiencies.

What will you be doing?

• Fulfilment of sample controls and checks in accordance with agreed Procedures

• Assist in preparation of detailed plans before commencement of each testing cycle

• Ensure achievement and delivery against SLA/ calendar timelines / scope of reviews for allocated activities

• Assist in preparation of Testing reports

• Maintain complete and up to date working papers for each testing cycle

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementation of control best practices across in-scope business areas

• Ensure quality of all deliverables for assigned activities are in line with predefined quality standards

What we're looking for:

• Postgraduate, preferably with experience in Internal Audits, process reviews and enhancements (BPR), Enterprise Risk Management

• Understanding of risks, controls, risk management tools and methodologies, governance and control frameworks and processes

• Experience in conducting internal audits/ process reviews – understanding of risk and control concepts with practical experience in analysing data, drawing inferences, and making recommendations to remediate control gaps

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Good understanding of operational processes within business

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent time management, prioritisation and multi-tasking skills and good client relationship building and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency in use of MS Office packages – medium to advance level skills on MS Excel and flexible to work in shifts, particularly UK
