The Senior Analyst – Home will Partner with Home business stakeholders and other F&A teams to drive Home’s financial / operational revenue results to meet the targets.

What you’ll do

Complete required month end / quarter end tasks, including pre month end estimates, journals, inputs for RI returns and reviews
Analyse and report Gross Written Premiums for Home portfolio by brand, including all key metrics, for both actual and budget / forecast
Analyse and liaise with RI finance on reinsurance movements for actual and budget / forecast
Liaise with system accounting and Home portfolio to ensure smooth budget / forecast process
In depth understanding of insurance revenue to facilitate discussion with Home portfolio team to drive the desired GWP outcome
Owner of Home portfolio OPEX and FTE reporting, including allocation driver updates and review of expenses allocation outcome, for both actual and budget / forecast
Assist / own BAU deliverables including but not limited to month end / year end, budget / forecast, competitor analysis, industry analysis.
Communicate key insights with Home business stakeholders in a timely and effectively manner.

What you’ll bring

Business Degree - Mandatory
Professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA), Certified Practising Accountants Australia (CPA) - Desired
8+ years experience providing financial services across complex, multi-disciplinary businesses
Strong general insurance knowledge (minimum 5 years experience in the industry) - desired
Strong finance system knowledge (TM1 / Oracle) - desired
Proven ability to work effectively with large team of financial professionals
