Position Purpose:

As a Senior Analyst specializing in Product Data Insights & Tooling, you will be instrumental in transforming our expansive item catalog into a powerful resource for strategic decision-making. This role focuses on utilizing complex, large-scale data to generate actionable insights that significantly shape executive-level merchandising strategies. You will blend advanced technical proficiency in data manipulation with a comprehensive understanding of retail merchandising principles, effectively translating raw data into impactful business recommendations. Your responsibilities will encapsulate building and supporting automation, utilizing AI tooling, and collaborating across various functions to align with the overall executive strategy. We seek a candidate who possesses both a strong analytical skill set and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze large, intricate datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities related to product performance, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, persuasive recommendations, presenting insights to leadership to enhance merchandising strategies.
• Create and uphold dashboards and reports that monitor key performance indicators, effectively communicating insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure analytical projects align with business goals, providing data-driven insights and guidance.
• Serve as a representative for the Merchandising function in evaluating business processes, developing procedures, and defining systems requirements.
• Lead initiative and project management by working closely with management and teams to establish project requirements, timelines, and communication plans.
• Oversee project team expectations, managing changes and addressing project issues as they arise.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure all projects address critical business needs, and analyze opportunities for enhancing requirement-gathering processes.
• Track and report on project metrics to assess business value, and evaluate implemented projects to identify continuous improvement chances.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, ideally in a retail or merchandising environment.
• Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing large datasets using SQL or other programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Strong familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Exceptional ability to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

Working Conditions:
• Located in a comfortable indoor environment, with the majority of the time spent sitting comfortably.

Travel Requirements:
• Up to 20% overnight travel may be required.
