Senior Analyst, SQL Server DBA
What This Position Is All About:

Job Qualifications
Requirements:
• Migrated SQL servers from on-prem to Azure/AWS
• Supported or experimented with running SQL Servers on EC2/Azure VMs and RDS/Azure SQL MI
• Automated routine tasks and setup monitoring using shell scripting, Powershell, t-sql, PL/SQL. Extra credit for experience with ansible
• 5+ years of experience in a DBA role supporting 24/7 environment
• Backup, recovery, Alwayon cluster setup, performance optimization.
Who You Are:
• Contribute in research and make recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards in support of development efforts.
• Ensure system availability and performance of a large fleet of SQL Servers running in AWS, Azure and on-premise
• Ensure high availability, backup and recovery as per SLA.
• Develop and track key database measures and metrics
• Learn new and old technologies with focus on supporting business functionality.
• Learn additional database platforms such as Oracle, DB2, PostgreDB
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Provide support during India and North America hours.
