The Role
As a Technical and Security System - Web Proxy Skyhigh L2 Specialist at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.
There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in IT or network security, especially in web filtering or security platforms.
• Basic understanding of web security concepts, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and web traffic filtering
• Exposure to Skyhigh Security (McAfee MVISION Cloud) and Cisco Umbrella. Experience with other web proxy solutions is a plus.
• Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills, with an ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Serve as the first point of contact for web security issues related to Skyhigh and Cisco Umbrella. Log incidents, track them, and ensure timely resolution or escalation to L2 support when needed.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Monitor the performance of the Skyhigh and Cisco Umbrella platforms, including traffic logs, alerts, and reports for suspicious activities or performance issues.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
• A degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields (or equivalent practical experience).
• Work closely with L2 and L3 support engineers to escalate complex issues and share relevant information for resolution.
• Communicate effectively with users to understand issues, provide status updates, and ensure resolution timelines are met.
