Role Title: Senior Associate - Cloud Engineering Product Suite: Commcise is an integrated cloud-based Research Valuation, Consumption Tracking, Commission Management and Share-of-Wallet reporting solution built to meet the needs of Investment Managers. Commcise provides clients with an automated Reconciliation, Invoice/Contract Management, Commission Targeting, Broker Voting, Commission Management and Reporting solution (website link). Location: Bangalore Working Hours: UK & US hours. The position requires the candidate to work on weekends for maintenance and deployments (as and when needed). Years of Experience: 6-8 years Role Purpose: This position is for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to work in a fast paced environment to gain exposure to the widely used software products/applications and learn industry best practices. Required Qualification: Masters or Graduation degree on Computer Engineering/ IT. Analysing and troubleshooting technical issues. Experience in operating AWS or other cloud environments. Certification in relevant technologies would be nice to have. High level of academic achievement. Experience in at least one scripting language � preferably Python or Powershell Skills Knowledge: Technical Capabilities: Mandatory- �Can-do� attitude Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong fundamentals in Windows Operating system administration Experience using Excel Experience with SQL server Experience in IT infrastructure management Ability to deal credibly with internal IT infrastructure demands Experience with evaluation and implementation of third-party products and vendor applications Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and resolving them Experience within a fast-paced, fast-growth Tech start-up environment Experience in creating professional documents as part of the knowledge management process Deliverables and Tasks: Deploy, manage, and support scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant system o Responsible for out of hours product deployment o Improve automatic deployment mechanisms Determine areas for improvements to run the platform more efficiently/cost effectively. Understand the Commcise architecture and become involved in troubleshooting/analysis of the Commcise applications o Answer security questionnaires from clients. Troubleshooting production issues and implementing new functionalities. Analyse product release notes, new functionalities, bug fixes, code improvements, breaking changes etc. o Escalate issues to relevant teams and coordinate resolution o Identify appropriate use of operational best practices Investigate and implement new features and applications o Implement infrastructure components (Monitoring, Logs Management, Consolidation tools etc). Continually improving processes with automation and documentation to remove key man dependencies.
