KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Internal Audit Professional Practices organization.
Responsibilities:
Conduct or support the development, maintenance, and execution of the Internal Quality Assurance Program
Support the maintenance of the Internal Audit Methodology, as well as associated tools, templates, and guidance
Participate in the development, and delivery of departmental training materials
Support the creation and maintenance of the Internal Audit Universe, and annual audit plan
Participate with internal audit management in the development of management reporting, and draft or edit reports for accuracy, clarity, as well as conciseness
Communicate effectively, information and status updates to internal audit management
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of recent experience in internal audit or risk management
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Audito (CISA), (or equivalent) certification is preferred
Working knowledge of internal audit and risk management methodologies and frameworks
Proficient in various auditing and analytical tools, including audit management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to positively influence, mentor, and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
