Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist job plans, manages and implements strategic recruitment and employment programs related to the entire hiring cycle, including recruiting, talent evaluation and screening, job advertising and posting, talent prospecting, talent staffing and planning. As a subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition, this job manages large projects with limited oversight that focuses on attracting the right talent for the organization's programs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Approves plans for strategically sourcing and allocating appropriate candidates to address the organization's current and future workforce needs, all while maintaining a low cost per hire.
Manages improvement initiatives for recruitment and staffing processes, tools and policies according to organizational human resources strategies.
Maintains relationships with external vendors and recruiting partners (e.g, universities, staffing organizations, employment fairs) to gain access to a pipeline or network of targeted talent pools.
Leads ranking process of candidates after interviews are conducted, and provides recommendations on final candidate selection.
Monitors job listings on internal and external sites.
Partners with business and/or functional leadership to understand recruitment needs and allocates resources in support of business objectives.
Counsels hiring managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization.
Implements cost effective talent attraction methodologies, enabling the development of a suitable candidate pool.
Conducts end-to-end recruitment activities for complex, difficult to fill, confidential and/or critical roles.
