Performing detailed code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality.
Staying ahead of the curve by implementing and evaluating cutting-edge technologies, driving their integration where suitable.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of backend solutions.
Collaborating with stakeholders to provide technical recommendations that align with project goals.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of experience working with backend technologies, including Java and Spring Boot (version 8+).
Coding Principles: Proficient in key coding and design principles such as SOLID, DRY, and KISS.
Database Skills: Strong experience working with data structures and relational databases like Postgres or MySQL.
Design Patterns: Hands-on experience with design patterns such as Open/Closed Principle, Singleton, Factory, and Observer.
API Development: Proven track record of building and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services.
Location: Based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Nice to have:
Experience with Microservices Architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Knowledge of Cloud platforms and Containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
