Reporting to the Senior Manager, People & Culture, this role presents an enticing opportunity to guide leaders, cultivate high-performing teams, and initiate and support change within the organisation. The successful candidate will be tasked with supporting people activities and initiatives that align with the overarching business strategy. They will also ensure that HR systems, processes, and organisational development initiatives are consistently and effectively maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and mentor-ship to leaders on staff issues and performance management.
Ensure leaders act in accordance with policies such as Equal Opportunity, Anti-Discrimination, and Diversity.
Identify initiatives to cultivate team and leadership skills, behaviours, employee engagement, and internal service standards.
Support people leaders to ensure that relevant awards and enterprise agreements are correctly applied in operation.
Assist in the communication, prevention or effective resolution of any People & Culture issue affecting employees.
Lead disciplinary management/investigation processes with designated business units.
Work with business unit leaders to implement workforce and succession planning.
Key Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related discipline or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role with a medium to large organisation.
Proven capacity to operate both operationally and strategically across a range of human resources.
Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of the employment and industrial landscape.
Experience facilitating workshops and information sessions.
