Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Executive (Senior BDE) who is passionate about growth, partnerships, and closing high-impact deals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business development within the digital marketing, advertising, or technology services industry and a proven ability to drive revenue through new client acquisition.
You will play a key role in expanding BloomX’s client base by identifying opportunities, building long-term relationships, and converting prospects into successful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
• Identify, research, and target potential clients aligned with BloomX’s service offerings
• Generate leads through market research, networking, referrals, and outbound initiatives
• Develop and execute strategic approaches to acquire new business opportunities
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, CXOs, and key decision-makers
• Understand client challenges and propose customized digital marketing and technology solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales and onboarding process
Revenue & Sales Growth
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle—from pitch to closure
• Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals and commercial agreements
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Internal Collaboration
• Work closely with internal strategy, performance marketing, creative, and tech teams
• Share client feedback and market insights to improve offerings and sales strategies
• Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution teams
Market & Industry Intelligence
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
• Identify new verticals, service extensions, and partnership opportunities
Reporting & Accountability
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts
• Report performance, insights, and progress directly to the Co-Founder
Required Experience & Skills
• 3-5+ years of experience in business development or sales within digital marketing / advertising / tech services
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Strong understanding of digital marketing solutions (performance marketing, social media, branding, tech-led solutions, etc.)
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment as well as collaboratively with teams
