About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team. You will support and lead key initiatives in ensuring a healthy, safe, and respectful workplace in a hybrid work environment. You will partner closely with various lines of business across the organization to design and implement strategies to evolve and support the company in our efforts to ensure a healthy and safe workplace in a hybrid work environment.

What you’ll do here:

Support the organization with initiatives surrounding the health and safety management in a hybrid world:
• Partner with the IFC Health & Safety team to strengthen the hybrid health & safety practices and process across our Canadian operations.
• In collaboration with facilities, develop the new management of evacuation in a hybrid work environment.
• Further the advancement of our domestic violence policy & process management; in addition to evolving our training and awareness protocol.
• Act as a point of contact to align the human resources community in Canada on safe hybrid world in the workplace.
• Collaborate with our mental health team on the psychological health and safety support for employees, sharing and aligning on organizational best practices.
• Actively lead and/or participate on various associated working committees related to the safe hybrid work environment.
• Proactively research industry best practices and provide recommendations based on identified gaps.
• Partner with our Respect in the Workplace COE to ensure a sharing of data and leverage best practices with respect to psycho-social risk prevention.
• Support the human resources community across Canada should future pandemic scenarios arise.

What you bring to the table:
• For all candidates across Canada: Bilingualism (French / English) is required considering the need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
• University degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management or any related field of expertise.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in human resources.
• 1-3 years experience participating or leading initiatives in a hybrid health & safety environment.
• Autonomy and a strong sense of work organization.
• Excellent collaboration, analytical and communication skills.
• Flexibility in work execution and ability to receive business operations feedback to drive improvement.
• Demonstrated success working in a highly ambiguous environment; comfortable to evolve in a constantly changing landscape.
• Demonstrated experience in aligning human resources strategies with company business objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to display curiosity and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
• CHRP designation preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
