The Communications & Engagement team is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Campaigns & Communications Advisor who is experienced in delivering campaigns and communications projects across a wide range of subject matter areas. You will create excellent working relationships with your internal business areas and lead the development of a statewide Get Ready NSW campaign.


Produce a range of quality and informed content in relation to disaster recovery and preparation to support strategic and corporate priorities.

Deliver communications projects involving the development of campaigns, content, collateral and website materials, while effectively coordinating resources and managing budgets.

Manage the end‑to‑end campaign process in partnership with external stakeholders, including media and creative agencies.

Develop strong, collaborative working relationships to provide expert advice on communication materials and strategies that support stakeholders to achieve their goals.


About You


High‑calibre candidates will hold relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrate equivalent experience in communications across a range of paid and owned government channels, supporting both internal and external audiences. You will be self‑directed, motivated and able to work collaboratively, bringing strong strategic thinking alongside excellent attention to detail.


Essential Requirements


Demonstrated experience delivering NSW Government advertising and campaigns, with sound knowledge of all required processes, including Peer Review.

Proven ability to undertake excellent copywriting and editing for multiple communication channels.

Ability to develop close working relationships with all levels of working groups within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Capacity and willingness to work outside of core hours during recovery as needed.
