Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior ColdFusion Developer With Team Lead Experience to join our Ed-admin team. As the Development Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding and leading our development team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions in the Ed-admin domain. Responsibilities • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team. • Manage the development team, ensuring effective collaboration and task allocation. • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth. • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with organisational goals. • Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and overall code quality. • Oversee testing processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-specific issues. Education Essential Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Preferred Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus. Experience Essential • Minimum of 8 years of development experience. • 3 years of experience in Lucee ColdFusion development. • 1 year of experience in Lucee ColdFusion code review. Preferred • Minimum of 10 years of development experience. • 5 years of experience in Lucee ColdFusion development. • 3 years of experience in Lucee ColdFusion code review. Technical Skills • Proficient in Lucee ColdFusion, with a strong understanding of advanced features and best practices. • In-depth knowledge of ColdFusion architecture, frameworks, and libraries. • Proficient in conducting comprehensive code reviews for ColdFusion applications. Remuneration: 20 to 30 USD per hour Working day and hours Mon to Fri, some weekend work may be necessary to support our operation which is 24 x 7 Working hours are 8 hrs minimum between 8am to 6pm CAT Date needed to Start As soon as possible Onboarding and Local Environment Setup As part of our comprehensive onboarding process, successful candidates will be required to undergo an induction that may span over a few days. It is important to note that this induction is designed to be completed at your own pace and within your own time, and it is an unpaid aspect of the onboarding process. In ensuring a smooth transition onto our platform, setting up your local environment is a key step. The time needed can range from half a day to a week, depending on your familiarity. If you're already acquainted, it might just take a few hours. It's worth mentioning that this onboarding process is unpaid and meant to be completed at your own pace, fitting into your personal schedule. While troubleshooting is part of the learning curve, any extra time spent is entirely your choice, without compensation.
