Senior Computer Teacher

Job Title: Computer Laboratory Trainer / Computer Teacher Location: Hanwant School Management Committee, Shastri Nagar, Jodhpur Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Computer Laboratory Trainer/Computer Teacher to join our team at Hanwant School Management Committee. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide practical education and training to students in the 11th and 12th grades. The computer laboratory is equipped with 30 high-performance Apple M1 PCs, and the objective of the lab is to ensure that students gain practical skills and become job-ready upon graduation. Responsibilities: - Delivering comprehensive computer education and training to students of Class 11th and 12th. - Designing and implementing practical lessons and hands-on activities to enhance students' understanding of computer applications and tools. - Instructing students on the effective utilization of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Teaching Internet skills, emphasizing safe and responsible usage, online research techniques, and digital literacy. - Introducing students to Canva and other design tools to enhance their creative abilities and graphic design skills. - Assisting students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills related to computer applications. - Maintaining and managing the computer laboratory equipment and software, ensuring their proper functioning and availability. - Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, advancements, and developments in computer technology and incorporating them into the curriculum. - Collaborating with fellow teachers and school staff to integrate computer education with other subjects and promote interdisciplinary learning. - Assessing and evaluating students' performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of their progress. - Creating a conducive and engaging learning environment that encourages students' active participation and fosters their passion for computer science. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, internet skills, and computer fundamentals. - Familiarity with Canva and other practical tools used for design and creativity. - Prior experience in teaching or training students in computer science or a related field is preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively. - Strong organizational and time-management abilities to plan lessons, manage resources, and meet deadlines. - Patience, adaptability, and a passion for imparting practical computer knowledge to students. - Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks on computer equipment. Schedule and Compensation: - The position is full-time, with working hours from +:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with one day off per week. - The salary for this position is negotiable and will be based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated skills.
