The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Consultant in Industrial Relations to join our team.
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality employee and industrial relations advice, and support to our external clients. Your expertise will be critical in leading and conducting complex workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with legal standards and fostering positive outcomes for clients. Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and value.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head of Consulting and the Consulting Team to provide expert advice on employee and industrial relations matters.
Lead and conduct thorough workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
Deliver precise and timely calculations and support to external clients.
Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and excellence.
Interpret industrial instruments and relevant legislation to advise clients effectively.
Maintain a high standard of client service and satisfaction.
Prioritise and manage work demands effectively to meet client expectations and deadlines.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a candidate with formal qualifications in law, industrial relations, human resources, or a related field, who has a keen interest and experience in employment law, industrial instruments, and relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience conducting workplace investigations and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in managing client relationships. Proficiency in relevant computer applications is essential, along with a high attention to detail and accuracy. A strong client service orientation is crucial, as well as the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic work environment. This position is at a senior level within the organisation, so demonstrated experience is a must.
