About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Officer 1 to provide expert high-level leadership and advice to support Palmerston College's management services, corporate governance and organisational systems and processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting the emerging business and professional needs of the College, working closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies that drive excellence in administration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic advice and guidance to the management team on administrative matters
Lead and coordinate projects to improve administrative efficiency and effectiveness
Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including staff, students, and external partners
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A degree in a relevant field, such as administration, business, or education
At least 5 years of experience in a senior administrative role, preferably in an educational setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
