Experience: 3 - 5 years
• Key Mandatory Skills:
• Excellent copywriting skills (your PI round will be a rapid fire of copies and puns and cult references across brands)
• Excellent visualization skills
• Immaculate grammar
• Knowledge of the digital first marketing industry overall
• Managing quality of creative output within timelines
• Additional Skills:
• Great pitch and presentation skills
• Good track record of upselling various creative formats
• Team coordination and time management skills
What will your Key Results Areas (KRAs) be?
• “If it doesn’t sell, it’s not a good copy”, they say. A one like KRA would be to write clear compelling copies across sectors and brands that differentiate.
• Knowing the difference between a ‘copy’ and a ‘caption’/’statement’ and writing simple yet striking and crisp copies
• Strong understanding of brand positioning, TG, sector, SWOT of the products and brands being worked upon
• Paid Media
a. Understanding nuances of various ad inventories and writing copies that increase CTR on FB ads, positively affect CTRs on Google Search copies etc.
b. Write impactful copies for sponsored posts and programmatic display ads or crisp copy led concepts for YT banners ads
• Brand Building
a. Coordinate with the brand and content strategy team to define campaign objectives and accordingly approach social copies
b. Understand what kind of copy and content works on various channels
c. Have very sharp 140-280 character writing skills to handle Twitter of certain brands
d. Know how to write empathetic ORM copies and do social listening
• Other Digital Properties
a. Write copies that works on emails, blogs, app notifications, etc that leads to better conversion
b. Understanding the UX preferences and how better copies affect conversion rates
• Pitches and New Clients
a. Assemble strategic insights into presentation materials for client
b. Ability to craft brand architectures by identifying key pillars, tonality, personality, brand promise, mission and manifesto via primary and/or existing research
