Introduction:
Looking for an experienced dynamic Senior java & Big data Developer having experience in delivering innovative solutions in close collaboration with the Business. The candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to work in a fast paced agile environment.
Resource should have strong development and analytical skills. Resource will need to build knowledge around Hermes system and ODS concepts in initial few weeks. Later he/she will be involved in all stage on development cycle from requirement, analysis, design, development, testing with timely delivery for various regulatory as well as strategic projects.
What will you be doing?
• Delivery of the Projects as per the agreed timelines.
• Performing the Optimizations and performance enhancements in case of any Production performance degradation experienced.
• Participating in the Architecture level discussions for the new solutions/projects and assist Lead architect by providing ideas and inputs.
• Manage and mentor the juniors in the team at different locations .
• Represent the Build-the-Bank team in different forums like CTO discussions, RTB discussions and Business escalations.

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Minimum 8+ overall years’ experience using and supporting big data platform
• Strong understanding of underlying Hadoop Architectural concepts and distributed computing paradigms
• Experience in Development of big data solutions with proven track record in driving business success
• Experience in the development of Hadoop APIs and Map Reduce jobs for large scale data processing.
• Hands-on programming experience in Apache Spark using SparkSQL and Spark Streaming Hands on experience with major components like Hive, PIG, Spark, MapReduce
• Hand-on knowledge of python and Py-spark
• Design and develop data ingestion programs to process large data sets in Batch mode using HIVE, Pig and Sqoop technologies
• Develop data ingestion programs to ingest real-time data from LIVE sources using Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming and related technologies
• Hands-on expertise in cloud services like AWS, or Microsoft Azure
• Creating ML model using python, Spark & Java
• Experience working in various Settlements and Sub ledger functions like PNS, Stock Record and Settlements, PnL
• Knowledge in BPS, IMPACT & Gloss products from Broadridge
• Experience working in ETL based projects involving Ab Initio
