Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Work Mode: Remote Shift Timings: 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM IST(3:30 PM – 1:30 AM IST during Daylight Savings)
Experience Required: 5 – 8 Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python and SQL to design and build scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing end-to-end ETL pipelines and a solid understanding of modern data engineering and data warehousing concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines across multiple systems
· Work with large datasets to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
· Develop and optimize data workflows using Python and PySpark
· Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
· Work with data warehouses like Snowflake or Big Query
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and data requirements
· Contribute to system design and architecture decision Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines Core
Requirements (Must Have):
· Strong hands-on experience in Python (LEET code mandatory)
· Very good understanding of SQL
· Working knowledge of Snowflake or BigQuery (mid-level proficiency)
· Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end ETL pipelines
· Solid understanding of Data Engineering and Data Warehousing concepts
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
Good to Have (Bonus Skills):
· Experience with Apache Kafka
· Exposure to monitoring tools and practices
· Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
· Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
· Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC)
· Basic understanding of Java
