Roles and Responsibilities:
- Database Administration support for business-critical applications in Single/Multitenant Architecture.
- Administer Oracle Databases on different operating systems including but not limited to: Linux and Windows
- Install, Upgrade/Patching and Configure Oracle Server 12c/1+c/21c RAC on multi node systems to meet Availability SLAs
- Configure and maintain Oracle Cloud Control.
- Implement backup strategy to meet SLAs.
- Ability to Implement Security Best Practices to meet compliance requirements.
- Develop and support database maintenance scripts
- Develop and maintain database design and support documentation
- Ability to configure Oracle HA options, including ADG, FSFO, And Goldengate
- Provide 24Ã-7 on-call support
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- Ideally Oracle Certified Professional with more than 8 years' experience in Oracle Database Administration of 12c/ 1+c /21c Oracle 13c Grid Control, Goldengate
- Operating system experience in Linux
- Oracle GI & RAC administration
- Strong Unix scripting using BASH/Python
- Excellent Problem Solving, Communication skills, Self-starter, ability to work in a team as well as take individual responsibility
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture Experience
- Ability to install, configure and maintain Golden Gate replication in single and bi-directional.
- Database Administrator experience with PostgreSQL
- Exposure to Oracle implementation in Cloud (Azure/OCI/ExaC@C)
