Job Description:-
This position will perform the activities and functions of a Database Administrator (DBA) supporting relevant technology platforms and application databases in development and test environments. The candidate will generate and execute database migration scripts, install the application, and provide technical support on a daily basis. This position is located in Bangalore, India.
Participate in the design, implementation, installation and maintenance of databases and application servers
Work directly with Engineering to support database environments, including the development and execution of migration scripts(Deployments)
Work directly with Engineering to support middleware environments, including application installation and troubleshooting
Provide technical guidance and support to internal or external customers on database design and troubleshooting.
Completes other duties as assigned..
Requirements:-
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education in a related discipline
At least 5 years of experience working with database servers and application servers.
Experience utilizing Microsoft SQL Server (2026) and Oracle(1+c)
Basic knowledge on SQL and performance tuning
Knowledge on scripting - power shell or shell
Experience with Wildfly, Tomcat, or Jenkins a plus
Experience with database installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with application server installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work activities.
Critical thinking and problem analysis skills
Demonstrated capabilities to work independently and as part of a team
Experience handling problems independently and reporting issues to management
Skills and Abilities:-
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and analytical skills
Good problem-solving and issue resolution skills
Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans
