Job Description
Understand and apply advanced database administration, management, and performance tuning techniques specific to our data stack.
Work with the team to manage schema design and implementation of good practices in relational and document databases for new and existing products.
Responsible for database performance, size, and operational monitoring.
Proactively identify trends in SQL statements and provide recommendations for efficient use of resources.
Proactively identify resource requirements to ensure the high availability of database systems.
Provide advanced technical troubleshooting for applications and database systems with an emphasis on root cause analysis

Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of professional experience administering or managing production database products
Experience with database migration, performance tuning, optimization, configuring, and managing database replication.
Experience using cloud-based resources and services (AWS / Azure)
Excellence in data backup, recovery, security, and integrity
High level of written and verbal communication skills, to communicate effectively with our global team members and our clients.
High attention to detail
