The Senior Designer – Nightwear will lead the creative development of women's nightwear and sleepwear collections. This role requires strong design expertise, deep fabric and trim knowledge, and the ability to translate fashion trends into commercially successful products. The designer will ensure every collection delivers comfort, functionality, and a modern aesthetic aligned with the brand identity
Key Responsibilities:1. Design & Concept Development
· Develop seasonal design concepts, color palettes, themes, and mood boards.
· Design sleepwear sets, robes, chemises, loungewear, and related categories with a focus on comfort and contemporary styling.
· Ensure designs are aligned with brand vision and target customer preferences.
2. Product Development
· Create detailed sketches, CADs, and comprehensive tech packs with accurate specifications.
· Collaborate with product development teams for sampling, fittings, and prototype revisions.
· Select appropriate fabrics, lace, trims, and finishes to meet design intent and cost requirements.
3. Trend & Market Research
· Analyze global fashion trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape in nightwear and loungewear.
· Conduct market surveys to study competitor products and pricing.
· Identify opportunities for innovation in silhouettes, prints, materials, and construction techniques.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with merchandising teams to develop cohesive, commercial seasonal assortments.
· Coordinate with sourcing and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality, fit accuracy, and timely delivery.
5. Leadership & Presentation
· Present design concepts, seasonal collections, and research insights to leadership and buying teams.
· Maintain design documentation, update PLM systems, and ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
· Strong passion for nightwear and sleepwear design with a refined, creative design sensibility.
· Minimum 5+ years of design experience in nightwear, lingerie, loungewear, or related categories.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW; knowledge of 3D design tools is an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
