The Role:
We are seeking an energetic Senior Designer with a commercial background to join our fast-growing Coconut Grove Division. The role is based out of our vibrant global head office located in Rosebery, Sydney.
Our Coconut Grove Division focuses on selling our Coconut Grove collection to retail partners around the world including Anaconda, ALDI, Target Australia, Walmart, Kohl’s, Tesco, Costco, TJX, to name a few.
Reporting to the CG General Manager, you will become the go-to person for all things design related within the team. The role requires someone with proven experience in both product and graphic design. The ideal fit will be someone who has a keen understanding of packaging and a passion for technical design with impeccable attention to detail, and great time management.
This is an exciting full-time position which has significant growth potential, as well as the opportunity for market research and travel. The ideal candidate will enjoy working both collaboratively with the team as well as having the ability to work autonomously.
What you will be doing?
Working collaboratively within a skilled team to create visually effective designs that communicate our brand identity and deliver commercial value to our consumer.
You will be responsible for the overall aesthetic of Coconut Grove including the Brand Deck, Brand Assets, Range Book, from concept to finalisation.
Visualise and conceptualise the new Coconut Grove range each season, working alongside the General Manager.
This is a hands-on role which involves product ideation and design, as well as packaging creation in line with brand guidelines.
Work with Production to manage feasibility of all creative concepts to ensure they are viable for production (for both products and packaging).
Manage the visual brand language of the brand from image database to the selection and retouching of lifestyle and studio images.
Bring a consumer first mentality to design, be proactive and always think about how to improve our product, productivity and consumer experience.
Great communication skills essential including the ability to demonstrate a high level of personal ownership and accountability.
Ensure a full understanding of the critical path always hitting all deadlines.
Experience:
Experience in a similar role for 5+ years
Experience working in-house or in an agency
Experience with packaging and product design.
Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ideal candidate:
Excellent Design skills, proficient in the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop).

Fast learner, able to learn our processes quickly and efficiently.
