Placement within the range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, relevant qualifications, skills, local market and budgetary considerations.

Overview of the job

Reporting directly to the VP, Partnerships, you will be responsible for building, growing, and managing key brand direct, agency, and platform relationships to drive significant revenue growth within our North America business.

This is a critical, full-time temporary contract role serving as maternity coverage for two concurrent team members. This position is essential for maintaining momentum and providing seamless support to our high-value client base during the coverage period.

You will manage the full sales cycle and relationship across the following key verticals:

Tech & Apps and Dining & QSR: Full ownership of the existing client base and pipeline from January 2026 – June 2026.

Food & Beverage (F&B): Full ownership of the existing client base and pipeline from April 2026 – June 2026.

You will also be tasked with building new relationships and generating new pipeline across all three designated verticals throughout your contract.

As our team is expanding in 2026, the successful completion of this maternity coverage temporary contract is intended to lead to a full-time, permanent role on the Brand Partnerships team, complete with a dedicated client list and remit.

The initial focus for this role is on seamless account transition, relationship continuity, and the protection of existing revenue streams across the assigned verticals.

Achieved Seamless Account Transition & Relationship Ownership: You would have successfully transitioned ownership of all active relationships, pipelines, and upcoming campaign executions across the Tech & Apps, Dining & QSR accounts. You will have held introductory meetings with key client and agency contacts.

Stabilized Revenue & Closed Key Renewals: You would have identified and successfully closed critical renewals and revenue commitments within your remit.

Established Cross-Functional Synergy: You would have established strong working relationships with the key Client Services, Creative/Strategy partners supporting your newly acquired vertical focus, ensuring all internal stakeholders are aligned on the client-specific objectives and needs during the coverage term.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation & Accountability

Target Achievement: Aggressively grow and develop existing brand and agency relationships to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets specifically allocated to the Tech & Apps, Dining & QSR, and Food & Beverage verticals during the coverage period.

Pipeline & Strategy: Strategically identify new opportunities within the existing client base and proactively build a qualified new business pipeline through deep relationship building and aligning our solutions with key brand KPIs.

Sales Cycle Management: Own the end-to-end sales process from initial strategic outreach through pitching, negotiation, closing, and securing renewals.

Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate and timely weekly reporting and sales forecasting to the VP, Partnerships regarding sales performance, pipeline health, and progress toward revenue goals.

Client Strategy & Market Insight

Strategic Planning: Ideate, build, and present tailored strategic action plans for both retained clients and new prospects, ensuring our solutions are precisely aligned with market trends and client needs

Competitive Analysis: Proactively track and report on competitor activity and market shifts. Utilize industry knowledge to identify potential new segments and areas for immediate market share growth within the assigned verticals.

Internal Partnership & Continuity

Executive Collaboration: Partner closely with the VP, Partnerships to execute on sales strategies, overcome roadblocks, and drive critical revenue opportunities to close.

Client Service Oversight: Work directly with the VP, Partnerships and the VP, Client Services to ensure and maintain a consistently high level of client service and satisfaction across all inherited accounts, prioritizing account stability and renewal success.

Seamless Transition: Ensure meticulous documentation and handoff preparation to facilitate a smooth return for the original team members at the conclusion of the coverage period.

What you will need:

Deep Sales Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of successful experience in digital advertising sales, ideally with direct exposure to influencer marketing and high-value brand partnerships.

Proven Revenue Delivery: A strong, verifiable track record of consistently delivering and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals, coupled with the ability to strategically build, manage, and accelerate a healthy sales pipeline.

Brand Direct Focus: Significant experience selling directly to top-tier brands and agencies, demonstrating strong client relationship-building skills essential for managing and growing inherited accounts.

Industry Knowledge: Proven experience or deep understanding of selling into the key verticals for this role: Tech & Apps, Dining & QSR, and Food & Beverage.

Strategic & Market Acumen: Skilled in comprehensive sales strategy, with the ability to assess the current business landscape, understand competitive dynamics, and outline clear steps for market share acquisition and revenue execution.

Communication Mastery: Excellent proposal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the confidence and ability to articulate complex strategies to C-level internal and external stakeholders.

Financial Literacy: Strong command of sales finance, targets, forecasting, and the commercial levers necessary to drive profitable growth.
