Job Description
The Sr. Director of Human Resources, reporting to the Global Vice President of Human Resources, is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the regional human resource's function. This person promotes and implements human resource corporate values by planning and managing human resources programs, directing team members, and aligning with global practices.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the HR function across the Region.
• Guide leaders on employee relations issues, interpretation of company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
• Advise managers on discipline issues, terminations, manages the performance review processes and performance improvement plans.
• Ensuring all mandatory reports are filed or distributed (country specific) and maintain knowledge of local and country legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• The leader owns the execution of the journey, the leadership of the teams and the change management of the process.
• In partnership with Global Vice President of Human Resources, develop, recommend, and implement HR policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve department and service efficiency.
• Suggest organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction.
• Support/drive initiatives and efficient processes, in close co-ordination with CoE Talent and in close alignment with global HR Leaders, in leadership, performance and succession, retention, technology and talent acquisition efforts.
• Supervision of all HR and Administration staff for the region responsible.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
