We are seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert in science with experience in the education industry across primary, secondary, and senior schools to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and developing content across different print and digital projects and curricula. Apart from this, the candidate will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure the highest quality of project deliverables.
Responsibilities
Interpret curricula across different states in India and abroad.
Review current practices in India with respect to content, assessments, and more in K-12.
Design and develop subject-related frameworks, book/digital contents, exemplars, and assessments that align with current educational standards and guidelines.
Review content to ensure accuracy and relevance to the target audience.
Create scripts/ chapters aligned with the educational standards and guidelines.
Create subject assessments that measure the learning outcomes of students and provide meaningful feedback to the students, parents, and instructional staff.
Train editors and other subject matter experts and teachers on the effective implementation of the curricula and assessments
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of subject curricula and print/digital content and provide recommendations for improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology, Education, or related fields
Minimum of 8 years of teaching/curriculum/content development experience in primary, middle, and senior school.
Strong knowledge of educational standards, guidelines, and trends across the globe.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
