The Cloud domain refers to the area within Information Technology that focuses on the delivery of computing services—such as servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence—provided as a service. Examples are AWS, GCS, and Azure. The implementation could be a Private, Public, or Hybrid cloud and the scope includes platform management, security, networking, storage, and enabling DevOps to support the consuming domains (Applications, AI, Data, etc.).

Design, deploy, and manage Cloud Infrastructure solution. Build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions, such as Kubernetes Platform in Azure or other public cloud.
Collaborate with Cybersecurity, enterprise architects to define and Implement cloud solution best practices following Well-Architect Framework best practices for security, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Ensure customer needs (product strategy objectives, user requirements, and technical environment compatibility) are met.
Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and change effectively to customers and stakeholders.
Drive innovation by automating infrastructure via your hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as code technologies.
Manage lifecycle of cloud solutions and platforms that keep the system stack up to date.
Writes, tests, and documents technical work products (e.g., code, scripts, processes) according to organizational standards and practices.
Monitor cloud systems for availability, performance, and cost efficiency, optimizing usage and resources.
Diagnose and resolve issues in cloud environments, providing support for internal teams and stakeholders.
24/7 on call rotation supporting business critical applications or systems. Conducts root cause analysis to identify domain level problems and prescribes action items to mitigate.

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
4+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:
Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
Airline Industry experience

High availability clustering (Pacemaker) across regions/zones
Proficiency with Cloud & Networking:
Administering Linux workloads in Azure Cloud; software defined networking (VNet, traffic mgmt)
Configuring and maintaining storage solutions, backup, restore & recovery using native Azure tools
Multi region/multi zone resilience planning
Working Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code & Automation:
Writing and managing IaC: Terraform, ARM templates
Automating routine tasks & configuration management (Python, Bash scripting)
Configuring management: SUSE Manager, Azure Portal, GitHub
Proficiency in Monitoring & SRE Practices:
Implementing logging, alerting & centralized log management
Usage of SRE / Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, Synthetics, etc.
Collaborating on CI/CD pipelines for Linux based applications
Expertise in Security & Compliance:
Applying OS hardening best practices, security scanning, role based identity management
Ensuring adherence to ITIL / ITSM processes for incident, change & problem management
Proficiencies in Methodologies:
Agile / SCRUM methodologies
Ability to use good judgment, root cause analysis, analytical & organizational skills
Ability to document architecture, runbooks, and standard operating procedures; keep knowledge base up to date
Strong customer service orientation; excellent written & verbal communication
Ability to mentor junior engineers on Linux, cloud fundamentals, automation techniques.
