Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable C to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, with advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP, and a strong willingness to learn. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in managing the company’s accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and maintaining effective communication with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Accurately process vendor invoices, ensuring that they align with purchase orders and contracts. Ensure timely and correct payments while maintaining accurate financial records.
Vendor Management: Manage vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring payments are made in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies.
TDS & GST Compliance: Monitor and apply correct TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) deductions and ensure compliance with GST regulations, including understanding eligible and ineligible GST inputs.
Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts payable records with the general ledger and vendor statements.
Reporting & Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel functions (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas) for financial analysis, reporting, and ensuring accuracy in accounts payable processes.
Month-End Activities: Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including preparing reports and assisting with audits.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (e.g., Procurement, Finance) to ensure smooth workflows and prompt resolution of issues.
Must-Have Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Must have strong skills in Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced features for financial analysis and reporting.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Degree in Commerce: A formal educational background in Commerce or a related field.
Understanding of Accounting Principles: A solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply them accurately in day-to-day transactions.
TDS & GST Knowledge: Basic understanding of TDS applicability and deductions, as well as GST inputs (eligible/ineligible).
SAP Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SAP, including experience with invoice processing, vendor management, and payment transactions.
