We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Assistant Fashion Designer to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with lead designers in researching fashion trends and creating mood boards.
• Select fabrics, colors, prints, and trims for new collections.
• Create initial sketches and designs for approval and adaptation.
• Oversee production process ensuring designs are executed accurately.
• Provide creative input for marketing campaigns and photoshoots.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for sourcing materials.
• Participate in fittings and make necessary adjustments to designs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in women's apparel.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
• Proficient in fashion design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Excellent understanding of garment construction and fabric behavior.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Keen eye for detail and strong sense of aesthetics.
