As a seasoned Senior Fashion Designer with over 12 years of experience in luxury fashion design, you will join the creative team at Mnaam in Jaipur. In this leadership role, you will work closely with the Creative Director to bring the brand's vision to life through exceptional garment construction and quality craftsmanship.
Your primary responsibilities will include interpreting the Creative Director's vision and moodboards to create designs that reflect Mnaam's luxury positioning. You will oversee the end-to-end garment development process, from concept to final sample, ensuring that each piece meets the brand's aesthetic and quality standards. Collaboration with tailors, embroidery artisans, and pattern makers will be essential to achieve excellence in construction and finish.
Market and trend research will inform your design decisions, as you select premium fabrics, trims, and embroidery techniques aligned with luxury standards. Your expertise in Western wear, including gowns, draped silhouettes, and modern tailoring, will be crucial in delivering designs that resonate with Mnaam's target audience.
Additionally, you will guide and mentor junior designers, manage timelines and budgets, and continuously push for quality, originality, and refinement in the final sample output. Your proficiency in design software, technical craftsmanship, and attention to detail will be key assets in this role.
