We Need You If You Excel In
• Trend spotting & be extremely creative in turning ideas into dynamic styles & a functional fit.
• Developing trend forecast which include seasonal inspirations, concepts and colours based upon international trends /runway. fashion trends and adapt to market demographic and brand image
• Planning assortment opportunities and merchandise to stay ahead of competition and relevant to the market
• Creating design ranges & tech packs based on the clearly defined annual and seasonal product strategy for the brand as per buying calendar.
• Aligning Design developments in tandem with the brand language & requirement.
• Introducing new silhouettes, textures, constructions, base fabrics, etc as per changing trends
• Timely deliveries of range presentations of the complete category along with the planograms
• Co-ordinating with vendors to ensure sample development happens accurately.
• Co-ordinating with internal teams for approval of pre-production sample for style and fit comments.
• Competition mapping by regular market visits and checking on own brand performances.
Qualifications
• Bachelors in Fashion Design from NIFT or any other relevant institute
• Overall experience of 4-5 years with at least 3 years of design experience in women's western wear
• Proficiency in creating flat sketches/graphics/print in ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR
• Technical knowledge of fabric qualities, fits and basic cost structure
• Vendor Management
