As a Senior Financial Analyst at Achievers, you will take the lead in transforming data into actionable insights that directly influence our strategic direction. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive performance, identify opportunities, and support key decisions. Responsibilities:
Planning & Forecasting
Lead components of the annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and 5-year strategic planning processes.
Build and manage robust financial models to evaluate business scenarios and investment opportunities.
Reporting & Analysis
Own the monthly reporting package, ensuring accurate reporting across ARR, sales data, and key financial/non-financial KPIs.
Perform in-depth analysis of actual vs. forecast results; identify key drivers and provide insight-driven commentary for leadership presentations.
Business Partnership
Serve as a trusted finance partner to cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Product).
Translate financial data into business insights, helping teams understand the impact of their decisions.
Special Projects & Ad Hoc
Develop models around new initiatives, revenue recognition (ASC606), and customer behavior (e.g., redemptions).
Reconcile and analyze large data sets from multiple systems to support strategic business needs.
Fulfill financial reports, templates, and analysis requests from corporate and senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience: 4–7 years in financial planning & analysis or similar roles, ideally in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment.
Certifications: CPA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent credentials are a plus.
Technical Skills:
Advanced Excel & financial modeling expertise.
Experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Vena); familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL is a plus.
Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting standards, and ASC606.
Business & Communication:
Proven ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong business acumen with a focus on actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Soft Skills:
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and influence without authority.
Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
A proactive problem-solver with a high level of curiosity and initiative.
