About the Role
TriMerge is seeking a Senior Financial Modeler with strong technical expertise to support oversight of a major transit capital program. This role will work closely with client stakeholders and our Lead Financial Consultant to maintain and enhance critical financial models, including risk assessment tools and long-term pro-forma projections. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone experienced in infrastructure finance who can translate complex financial data into clear insights for decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and enhance the CITT Risk Assessment Model by incorporating updated revenue, expense data, and assumptions
• Support annual updates to the DTPW Pro-Forma, including analysis of surtax revenue, operating costs, and bond rate impacts
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses such as economic shifts, project delays, and regulatory changes
• Review and validate updates to the Maintenance and Operations Cost Allocation Model
• Gather and analyze data from sources such as NTD, FTA, APTA, and peer agencies
• Develop interactive dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to communicate model outputs
• Present findings and explain modeling assumptions to non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field
• 5–7 years of financial modeling experience
• At least 3 years supporting public sector, transportation, or infrastructure projects
Technical Skills
• Advanced Excel including Power Query; VBA or macros are a plus
• Experience with financial data analysis and modeling tools
• Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
Soft Skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex models into clear insights
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with transit data systems such as NTD or FTA reporting
• Familiarity with bond structuring tools such as DBC Finance

• Quarterly updates to Risk Assessment Model and Pro-Forma
• Scenario analysis reports aligned with client work orders
• Executive-ready dashboards and visual presentations
