About Dehcy:
Dehcy is a global fashion brand driven by creativity, innovation, and market relevance. We are looking for a highly experienced Textile Fashion Designer (8+ years) to lead end-to-end development of apparel products on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for each assigned product—from design concept to fabric procurement and final production specs.
This is a high-impact freelance opportunity for designers who are self-driven, resourceful, and ready to contribute to a global fashion business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify product opportunities aligned with Dehcy’s brand positioning and market trends.
• Develop original fashion designs (especially textile-focused) that are commercially viable and globally appealing.
• Create detailed tech packs, flat sketches, CADs, and production-ready documentation.
• Select appropriate fabrics and trims, considering cost, availability, sustainability, and quality.
• Coordinate and procure fabrics from reliable suppliers and mills, ensuring timely sourcing and quality compliance.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure the designs are feasible for production and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Stay ahead of fashion trends, consumer insights, and innovations in textiles and garment construction.
• Ensure all products meet performance, aesthetic, and cost standards.
What We're Looking For:
• 8+ years of proven experience in fashion/textile design with a focus on end-to-end development.
• Strong portfolio showcasing original designs and product development capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in fabric sourcing and vendor coordination.
• Proficiency in design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc.
• Ability to create detailed technical packs for manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of textiles, patterns, fabric behavior, and garment construction.
• Experience working with global teams and managing remote collaboration efficiently.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and ethical sourcing practices is an advantage.
• Familiarity with 3D design tools (e.g., CLO 3D, Browzwear, Optitex) is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
